I was introduced to the violin before the age of three. My father, physicist, was my teacher for the first ten years and taught my three sisters and me how to play. My mother is violon cellist, and we often organized concerts as a family. My parents met in my father's orchestra in Darmstadt back then. My mother was the first violoncellist and my father the conductor of the orchestra.
